Will you feel all the prayers that I have sung?
Here in the closeness, as stars brine in God’s One.
How I have held you, with your heart in such love,
given you over, to Love; Him, Above.

Do you know that I love you forever and more?
When the moon comes upon me I’ll soften the clouds.
Finding all goodness to hold you, to restore,
to keep you, dear heart; wrapping you to the core.

Do you know that I love you forever and more?
After days part, in soft dreams cover,
I sing the pictures that fly like sweet darts,
there they go lightly like birds to God’s heart.

Will you feel all the prayers that I’ve sung?
Here in such closeness, as the stars brine in God’s One.
Each minute, each hour that bids holy view-
calls Heaven, Love’s mercies. See, they open for you.

This, but a Moment

Do you see what I see
in the slant of sun’s crest?
Do you hear all Gods’ beauty in the colors that rest?

Greens in the hollow of deepening curves,
Mint mists that follow the whispering birds.
Blue touches with promise, they hover above,
almost embracing, covering like love.

There in the fields, I see buds lifted sweet-
colored like honey, rising to greet.
All in the midst of the afternoon sun,
this but a moment, a glorious one.

ddancersfr239821-tom-stioLord, pull my heart and wrap me round
the whole of love’s immersed, endowed.
Now drown the hallows of life’s waves
into the depth of Your sweetened gaze.

I cast all towards Your certain way
and leave behind what binds and pleas.
I’ll carry not my burdens there,
For in Your care I am freed as Love’s heir.

I bid my heart to rise to love
and walk as one born boldly new.
Holding, keeping, living, reaping
All lived from the glimpse of none but You.

Love sighted by such awe of the heart…
O Lord you have set my soul aglow.
It births..it gives all life a new start.
I reach, embrace and shall never let go.

“God’s Tree”…a worship Poem by Linda Willows

All of heaven reaches your branches,
and all of the earth beside your depths…
I pray beside your deep green wonder,
like a child with heart’s new breaking thunder.

The grass beneath is warm and soft,
a nest to hold this wandering guest,
that all tender souls might reach to your bend,
and fold in the arms God’s mighty tend.

Oh, keep me near such binds that set free;
held close in their fold, wrapped dear in mercy.
The substance of love reaches out as foretold;
my heart is embraced in the grasp of sweet hold.

Soft Heaven, Pray leave me, here tenderly.
I am sheltered, caressed and held by Love’s own decree,
captive of no other than Thee.
