“Jesu Almighty, the Glory Thereof” a worship poem from LWillows

Jesu Almighty, The Glory Thereof

Lifting hearts burst from love’s view of Your gaze
Seen in the dawning, we give thanks that praise.
Jesu Almighty; our King of all days
From start to finish
The glory’s amaze.

Humbled before all that majesty reigns
Graces and tendered, become through His veins.
Jesu Almighty; Merciful gain
From start to finish
The glory remains.

Sweetened because of the misting of Love
Soaked in His Presence, we bow in God’s glove
Jesu Almighty; the Holy, the Dove
From start to finish
The Glory Thereof.

I will tell of the LORD’s unfailing love; I praise him for all he has done for us. He has richly blessed the people of Israel because of his mercy and constant love. (Isaiah 63:7

Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. (Daniel 10:12)

The LORD is my strong defender; he is the one who has saved me. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will sing about his greatness. (Exodus 15:2)

“Here I am Gazing, Here I am Kept”, a worship poem from LWillows

When, while – I fathom all in Your care
The moon, the stars, each day born in light’s air
Here I am gazing, here I am kept
Into the worship of heaven’s lift swept.

Still, sweet – such moments softly become
Wrapped in the beauty of silken peace won.
Here I am gazing, here I am kept
But for the Grace of Love’s deep intercept.

When, while – I fathom Your vast
Soaring my heart with such winged view cast
Here I, but gaze with awe stunned
Captured, enraptured, holy given, heart-spun.

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:28).

“Jesus answered, ‘It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’” (Luke 4:8).

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:4-5 )

“Upon Prayer’s Bended Knee”, a worship poem by LWillows

PrayersBend2Beloved

Silent O the morning
in light’s beautified slant
Each tree branch held bended
felled wanting
cupped sweet.
Leaves groomed as green lace
display sky and God’s breeze;
whispering prayers scent
Love’s aroma advent.

Surely for God,
only His, this for all.
Life swept aside
in the grandeur of the hours.
Silent hearts heightened
Holy reaching, towers to us
in the slant of light’s glimmer,
we are hallowed, we are tilled
at Glory’s day’s break, we are tended,
we are stilled.

Lend Holy song’s blush
In the grace of shade tree
Love reaches, falls softly
Upon prayer’s bended knee.

Psalm 17:6
I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray.

Psalm 116
I love the Lord because he hears my prayers and answers them. 2 Because he bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I breathe!
