“This is my Yes, my homage to You”, a worship poem from L.Willows (Spirit; renewed, joy, God’s love)

This is my Yes, my homage to You

I breathe, because
the morning opens before me in splendor and I-
am filled with Air that praises you God, my Father.
Here, is the path that I walk upon-
bathed in the warmth of the sun rising,
kissed by the breezes of the dawn,
held in the aroma of misted leaves bending,
filled with love rising that calls out Your name.

I breathe, because
the sky opens wide and dips to greet the day as I-
cast my heart to you my God, my Father.
Here is the path that I walk upon-
sweet-smelling flowers bear dew, they shine.
Here, hidden stories, of mysteries thine are
held in cathedrals of tall peaking branches reaching.
Airs come seeking. They fill my heart’s dance.

I breathe, because
The life you give is new, asking, inviting and I-
can only say Yes to you my God, my Father.
Is there a moment that we step into Air?
Is there a place that we find where to dare?
Here, is the path that I walk upon-
bathed in the warmth of all that seems true
filling each moment with breath anew.
This is my Yes, my homage to You.

I breathe, praising wonders; my invest- this renew,
love marvels, all bows to days born in Your view.

2 Corinthians 1:20 “For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.”

Psalm 30:4-6 –“Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”

Lamentations 3:22-23 -“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

“Eyes to God” worship prose from LWillows

Eyes to God…

When life has taken fateful tolls
I have seen the dust and lifted console.
Eyes to God and footprints on the hill,
I wearied on but with a gritted will.

It is not clear that heaven is near
when all about is a clouded veneer.
The earth may quake beneath my feet
yet miracles shine through such hours of defeat.

With no one to call or place to find Home
the Heart redefines that which is its Own.
Amaze me once more, as I look above
Eyes to God, all footprints in Love.
