“Green, hold my heart in this canopy of”, a worship poem by L.Willows

Green, I walk in your tendered soft,
Leaves you bend,
A path to meet-
Ripened low, tipped with dew’s greet.

Here in the hushed forest
Live wonders unseen,
Paths cut by footsteps,
In prayers at dawn’s glean.

Green, hold my heart in this canopy of-
Mists and lush gardens,
Worlds of your love.
There the birds sing, they fly from such joy,
Nesting among, all the blossoms above.

When I enter your mercy
Through green portals, winds lift.
Soft comes aroma, like honey’s sweet drift.
Here, in your garden, I am captured, beguiled,
All of me dances- awakened like a child.
