“The Moment that God Made”…..a poem by Linda Willows

zzzzNature

Stillness comes in the sweet summer’s green eve,
I sit in the vast and gaze; I believe.
All becomes wonder, a calm hushed serene-
cast in the joy of surrender’s unseen.

Whenever the tender breeze floats by
my heart lifts song with a softened sigh,
as though a lullaby from far above…
had gently blessed us all with Graced love.

Green feathered leaves dance in the sun’s late light,
rustling, whispering; they reach to delight!
How deep is my awe of the moment that God made…
undisturbed, unknown and from heaven portrayed.

“Time stopped, for Joy’s graze”……a poem by Linda Willows

How quiet has stilled all the slopes and the streets,
as nature has taken these days in it’s keep.
Thunderous snow and winds do blow
with awe we witness the winter’s show.

God did shake the clouds last night
and fill them all with sparkles of white.
He gathered the air and sent it in gusts,
like ripples in an ocean, His waves in sky thrusts.

Out of my window, I marvel, I gaze-
all is a white kingdom in shimmering haze.
Covered are all of our blunders and grays;
Life for these moments,
carved like time stopped, for joy’s graze.

“The Nest’s of Red Barn”….a worship poem by Linda Willows

Winter’s green fields come round full with grace.
Valleys run deep to catch the sun’s lace.
Hills and mountains run full yonder cast
a lavender grey mist woes deep from the vast.

Nearby farmhouse stand upright, straight and red
held generations are warm, bred and well fed.
And as the horses, goats, cows all graze in the fields,
it seems that they know of a treasure there sealed.

Peace lies in the whispers and the hallows of red Barn;
In the huddle of chickens and cat nesting in hay yarn.
Here is the core of all life on the farm,
All rest on the eve of a home next to each,
each creature sweet nested, with Farmer in reach.
