“Petals beneath my Footsteps” from LWillows

Petals deep silken fall beneath my footsteps,
I linger, I feel each round cloud that soft lets.
Wanderings embrace Love’s kindness retraced.
Oh, bounty brings near such never-ending Grace.

Silver strands weave into a new budding Heart,
announcing the tellings of shining path’s start.
Pull all of the sweetness, the flower, the rose,
make a parcel of this and see peace in repose.

Would that the droplet of this magic, such feat
could sprinkle like dew over all that may weep.
The silk of the petal upon the Path’s lasting way
could embrace and soften each journey’s bouquet.

Psalm 73:26
My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 142:5
I cried out to You, O LORD; I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.

Jeremiah 31:3 “The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.”

1 John 4:16
So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
