“Lord, lift my son to You”

I lost and found him throughout the years,
In stories that wound and then tangled with tears.
There I lay soaked in a hive of mother fears,
Caught in the crossfire of life’s past arrears.

I surrendered, confessed, in soliloquy bared,
And all of my words left your heart undeclared.
You are loved my son, my soul pours without end.
Nothing could sever or hinder soul’s blend.

Your eyes dwell deeply like faraway doors
But I swim in the decades of deep blue lives, yours.
More cherished than anything that words could hide;
Inscribed in the visions that love holds inside.

Lord, carry what I am powerless to hold.
Lift my son’s heart to Yours in Love’s bold.
Be His Father, stir the miracles – the ones that were born
When you formed him in me, your own Spirit’s dwelling sworn.

“Love’s Reserves”….from LWillows

Love’s Reserves

World apart, yet here in the known,
Walking amidst but with no shadow shown.
Some can feel a heartbeat from far..
From the silence, the out-curve, it forms like a star.

Far from the seen and hidden apart.
Without any words that reveal the heart.
Whispers only tendered with prayers
Could lead a soul to find these cares.

Seeing, believing, receiving, not leaving..
Grace fills the spaces that life is weaving.
Even the quiet and silent star curves,
Find their way out, they become Love’s reserves.

In the Arms of The Dove….a poem by Linda Willows

In soundless tears my soul did weep
and reached towards bold love’s sweet keep
within a brightened canopy of stars
The Lord spilled grace upon mortal scars.

They fell into cloudburst of white light
that danced through my heart with gentle might.
The joy did follow ever after that night
When bare I was, in the Lord’s Graced sight.

Healed dear, as a child, in the arms of The Dove;
My soul then twined and found in His Love.
Each tear caste away in forever’s foreplay….
Oh Lord, mark the night, for You Rule Heaven’s Day.
