“Upwards into such Glorious Gate”….by Linda Willows

Our God, you know our hearts throughout,
you see our sorrow, tears and night’s doubt.
Through times that shake all mortal ties
and loosen the grasp of sudden goodbyes.

We, your people pray to stand fast
to abide in your Love this moment till last.
Cancel the hold that weakens our grip
and fire the Cast in Your sign of Son-ship.

Come so gently. Abide in us all.
With You our Lord; our Hearts will not fall.
Leading. Keeping. Holding. Reaping.
Loving us throughout all loss’s weeping.

With such deep near Grace you gently lift,
each of our eyes to see Your Love’s true drift.
Upwards into such Glorious Gate…
We gaze in awe of such joyful fate!

“The Promise”…by Linda Willows

For all joy the heart keeps, still in times we feel loss,
Abandon, life’s fate, or the circumstances’ cost.
Whatever is chosen, the moment is dear,
for surely what happens comes by what we fear.

Whatever we plead from love to come forth,
seems the price of our loss as it draws back in force.
Yet Promise is stronger than any life course…
We are granted our fill from Birth moment until
the Secret unveils and Our God’s Love prevails.

Hand in heart, Joy not apart…our life does not lose.
Hope does not depart.
We are the ones that must love more and choose.
Never the ending in this mortal life:
We boast of this grandeur with only more strife.

See the Joy now and don’t shed the tear;
God’s Glory is triumph beyond all that appears.
Clasp on to the “other” with all might and love,
We all are in His family, and Heaven above.

“Holy heart, hush – I hear Love’s amend.”……a poem by Linda Willows

My heart lies between two sweet notes of rapport,
first elation that joys and motions the fore,
how it rises, it echoes, Lord deep from my core..

And yet I still grieve even in new frontiers;
with woundings that weep lost in life’s yesteryears-
Lord, praying forgiveness to blanket the tears.

Life’s branches once broken plead their rebend;
they live on in world other until Grace attends.
Holy heart, hush – I hear Love’s amend.

Gladness that joys in all moments of love
bind me in faith as all mends from above.

Glory the notes that call my heart home,
beyond years, time and tears,
they fill my Soul’s Roam.
