“Here I am Gazing, Here I am Kept”, a worship poem from LWillows

When, while – I fathom all in Your care
The moon, the stars, each day born in light’s air
Here I am gazing, here I am kept
Into the worship of heaven’s lift swept.

Still, sweet – such moments softly become
Wrapped in the beauty of silken peace won.
Here I am gazing, here I am kept
But for the Grace of Love’s deep intercept.

When, while – I fathom Your vast
Soaring my heart with such winged view cast
Here I, but gaze with awe stunned
Captured, enraptured, holy given, heart-spun.

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:28).

“Jesus answered, ‘It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’” (Luke 4:8).

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:4-5 )

“I Praise You, Lord” from The Beloved

PraiseHolyHoly

When we see the Holiness of The Lord, our hearts become flooded with love. Seeing Christ brings a deep bow of humility and prayer of worship. Gratitude sweeps in like a soft arm that is holding with His Mercy; one that has held since that first moment of belief, now deeper, sinking with roots that find their way into the hours and minutes of day and night. His Holiness permeates all that reaches our hearts as we are lifted like flowers reaching to the sun. This wondrous Beloved, His Altar so high, yet given and giften through His Spirit. Miracle this, how we can pray. Flooded Love praises. Seeing Christ causes a blossom to hope, to believe and to reach with wondrous Love.

Psalm 136:1-7
God’s Gracious Love

136 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his gracious love is everlasting.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods,
for his gracious love is everlasting.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for his gracious love is everlasting—

4 To the one who alone does great and wondrous things,
for his gracious love is everlasting—
5 to the one who by wisdom made the heavens,
for his gracious love is everlasting—
6 to the one who spread out the earth over the waters,
for his gracious love is everlasting—
7 to the one who made the great lights,
for his gracious love is everlasting—
8 the sun to illumine the day,
for his gracious love is everlasting—
9 and the moon and stars to illumine the night,
for his gracious love is everlasting—

“His Kingdom so Near”…a poem by Linda Willows

Levitation Under the Stars

His Kingdom so Near

How brightly did the thunder part,
an evening prayer lifted in trusting Love’s start.
The rains fell brightly upon my heart
when all turned to face You, for sacred impart.

Answers lone, how they come between
This mortal life’s pause, only then to be seen.

Holy moments brought in a flood of Grace
Known, Enthroned by  His Love’s embrace.

When lost to all that comforts here…
We wander through storms grim in appear;
But found in the quake of the fall of all fear,
All wake to Love, His Kingdom so Near.
