Amidst Grace

In this, amidst all stilled before
A herald did open the holiest door.
There before me in heart’s stunned awe,
A silence caused heaven’s curtain to draw.

Witness heart, this moment of-
Here in place we receive the Dove
Can thou be bared, Glory from above?
Oh, spread-winged dare; last here as love, as Love.

In this, amidst all stilled before
A herald did open the holiest door.
In sweet nest of us, there was Kingdom’s roam.
Oh, Holy One of grace, we praise you as home.

2 Thessalonians 2:13
But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

“Evenings Gathered with Gratitude’s Moon”, from LWillows

When last I looked, you were beside,
There on my right, in the path on the green
Deep in the hills of bounties so wide,
Rich in the depth of my memory’s tide.

With trails and songs gifted, joy found a tune,
All heaven and earth seemed new with hope.
Evenings were gathered with gratitude’s moon
Peace fell upon such pastures elope.

I walk in green paths and remember today,
Singing of treasures lost yet in this world-
Surrounded by a bounty of grace in Love’s sway.
You are here always near, my heart fells, you do stay.

John 15:15
“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.”

James 2:23
“And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

“On Bended Knee”…by Linda Willows

On bended knee I find my own,
the way of simple ‘letting’ known.
Freed are all the burdens kept
out they flew, oh out they leapt..

I bowed my head to let all dim,
The Love, came then, it soared; poured in.
My all curled toward the mercy Bright.
Heart folded round firm in this might.

Wrap me round and hold me tight,
I never want to leave this site.
Oh let the fetters of the day,
find their way without my say.

I need to Love on bended knee;
T’is how I die, I live, I see.
The glory All is farther than,
the Whole and heart of even me.

Life, its source, the beauty of…
comes free, but ‘Let’ from far above,
and when we bend our lives to Love
to live and die, to reach to see….
we arch in deep humility.

Touching portal veils that hold,
embrace of sacred love extolled.
