“Thunder, Thunder, miles of Wonder” worship prose from LWillows

Thunder, thunder, miles of wonder,
Footsteps rumble into outcries asunder.
Drive me yet through lands not dissolved
whose voices will not break into distant resolve.

Rumble, Rumble, miles to wonder,
room to soar yet much to forsake.
The outcry of brethren for their own sky to take.
Their voices roar for a new freedom’s wake.

Cast me with honor, give me soul’s wake.
Thunder, Thunder; all is at stake.
Abba, for each and every one of us, Lord
For this Life, this hour, and all choices we make.

Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

It is the Power of The Lord that rumbles and thunders through our hearts and lives when we call out. Throughout the Bible, the LORD was invoked in times of need, times that asked for deepened belief and throughout strife. Our calls are always heard.

When we listen and seek out the intercession of The Holy One, our hearts need to be prepared. We all are born with hearts of flesh that are filled with mortal storms that pull us away from the very One that we are calling to. We ask to be awakened. At the same time, all that has put us to ‘sleep’ can be alerted like armored guards that have done a  good job for decades. “This part of the heart will not be challenged. This is our nature.”(stumbles speak)

We can stumble as our hearts long for the great turning to receive God, which is called Salvation. The gift of Grace by Faith is the beginning of a lifelong journey with a new life and heart In Christ.

As Christians, as we walk in The Power of The Lords Spirit we still stumble, we still wake up each day a mortal being.  Mortal rumbles are with us while we live in this world yet by living in the Perspective of The Kingdom of God and allowing His Power to lead, life and one’s own heart is altered miraculously.

We learn to recognize the rumbles as signs that can prompt us to turn to prayer and “look up, look in and give the Lead to God” is a wondrous way to respond when we hear thunder.

When the Power of His Holy Spirit awakens us, it is like a thunderous clap. We are called to attention. Sometimes it can feel like a storm. The rain and thunder of it is a blessing. The LORD is seeking to take the reigns of our hearts and lead us forward.

This Life, this Hour compels Salvation. In Our Lord Jesus Christ, we gain true freedom and eternal life. It is a glorious run with an even more Glorious King.

“Soaked in Grace”…a worship poem by LWillows

Soaked in Grace

As a tide that rises from east to west,
then bursts from within and turns round to grip
fills with the sands and the stones of the earth…
my heart is loosened, undone at it’s girth.

Winds come home to bring up the surf
swept in with barrels of ancient life’s scrolls.
How deep is the current that follows my heart
before, between and beside all life’s start.

Wave crests fly up and dare mists to the sky.
The Heavens could mingle in clouds that go by.
But here is my footprint sinking in sand,
earthbound, in pebbles at the edge where I stand.

Oh tide of hearts homecoming, souls to be lifted
Eastern star lights all to rise in Love’s gifted.
See how the face shines upon the deep sea?
Holy answer sheds grace and soaks all of me..
