“I am Found” devotional poetry from LWillows

In the sweetness of brushes with air drifts that paint,
a lightness is catching the soft songs of saints.
Hush, oh so new, this is a virgin heart’s due,
Born in the dawn, in the silent moon’s hue.

Fragile the silence that draws back the veils.
It breathes in and out with mysterious wails.
Tipping all stance and former commands,
I bend at the door of His Glory and stand.

Soft comes the Light in its touch to embrace,
I am covered in wonder, in rapture and grace.
Like a seedling that breaks with all might through the ground,
I burst with a joy that at last, I am found.

“His banner over me is love.”  Song of Songs 2:4

“Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death…Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away.”  Song of Songs 8:6-7

“Woman Heart Rising” poetry from LWillows

WomanHeartBeloved
Woman heart rising, feeling its way
Through a night passing, now in light’s day.
Easing through slivers, through curtains that veil
Hollowed out chambers that speak in a soft wail.

This is a river, one bending and long
Waters so yielding, faithful and strong.
Throughout tides calling, all falling to One
Searching the vast for the ocean’s first Sun.

Woman heart rising, called out to pray,
Full in the stretch of unwinding new day.
Binding the wounds of all valleys that thirst,
Such is the healing that rains in heart’s burst.

And of His fullness have we all received, and grace for grace.
