Prayer “We Fall Lovingly Forwards To You”
Father, Almighty God,
We look to you for all hope and with every part of our hearts.
We submit to your sovereignty and pray that our calling is filled with
the devotion of ones that run to the one that has filled them with blessings
and poured out the Spirit of His own son upon them.
We fall lovingly forward towards you, Lord
with gratitude for all that you have poured out upon us.
Our hearts open like vestibules that are thirsty to drink in your Spirit.
We leave behind anything that would hinder its entry.
Pour, Godly Good so that we can be refreshed by your comfort
and know the sweetness of your love throughout,
Help us each to put all hope in you and in you alone.
Increase our trust in the Eternal
and loosen our grip on the temporal
Father, we are yours, called by you and known by you
Help us, by the power of your Spirit,
to walk boldly forward with courage.
Let us dare to make choices that glorify you and not our own needs;
to live to see your Kingdom reign on earth and not our worldly wants;
to walk in the ways of your righteousness and not our own.
May we learn to join the chorus of joy that prevails and be witnesses to your Glory.
In Jesus Name,
A Silence that Pours Love
Dwelling, love swelling from silence that pours
sweetened so mellow, in the cavern’s surround.
Here in the mound that so softly receives.
Here in the curve of my heart in God found.
Misted, lifted, oh blessed by the dear gift,
carried by kindness, unspoken prayers heard.
Here is the home that turns all towards you.
Here is the beat of my heart in God’s word.
Stayed, assured; with rest in the calm.
Lullabies sing to my soul with Your psalms.
Comfort is dwelling, love swelling – it pours,
sweetened by the caverns’ mound silent surround
here in the curve of my heart, God found.

But the LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him.
Be still and know that I am God.
In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.
Find rest, O my soul, in God alone.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.
When the valley holds the weighted heart,
sloping drifts come in from far.
Starshine nights seem long and bright,
covered wraps can’t still the night.
Silenced woes seem louder in
all the still of wandered lulls.
How we muffle, how we cry
in the broken, yearning sky.
Looking up with hearts that gaze
we grieve upon a sign, a note
that leads the weary one to hope;
set sight above the drift of haze.
Oh, blaze the eye up to behold
The river bridge that shines like gold.
Cast across the valley’s form etched,
Reaching out, like love’s arm stretched.
Lifting, bearing, holding all.
Comforter of all heart and cries
Lord, you live near the valley of nights
Outstretched in mercy, in tenderness Brights.

With a strong hand and an outstretched arm, for his steadfast love endures forever.
I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
He gives power to the faint and increases the strength of the weak.
The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of discipleship, to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning; He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.
From Heaven’s Glove
I know some circles called ‘my heart’,
Far from here they do not part.
Lines begin to shred and fray
When they wander, when they stray.
Called to be by unseen sway
Here they rest, here they stay.
Coddled all beside one Guest,
A might that gathers all as Blessed.
When the winds of life become
Stormed, or rifted, pulled by some –
Here within a Love abides
Comfort tendered from all sides.
Drawn like dew from heaven’s glove,
Soaked into each circle of –
Heart of mine with wanting love
Given all from God above.
