“The kiss of new Birth”, a sacred poem by Linda Willows

2 Corinthians 4:6-7
For God who said, “Let Light shine out of darkness, made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”

Fashioned out of clay I was
unformed and deep in quiet bound.

Shadows cast by Light unknown,
surrounding night with naught a sound.

Enter then a ray’s impress,
such gentle touch did probe heart’s rest.

Then stirred reveal of Life to Itself;
the seedling quickens, oh Glory in stealth…

about to receive the kiss of New Birth,
from none less than He, Lord of All…
The Beloved One, who Created the Earth.

“Your Name’s sake”…a devotional poem by Linda Willows

With all I am, I called your Name,
My heart in the pause of mortal pain.
No night must hold my form from you
Or bind my veiled and shadowed view.
Instead I am a child forgiven;
Comforted, held, healed and forgiven.
I am your own, redeemed; love-driven.
Alive to seek you in a daily wake.
All Heaven’s quake in the hush of Name’s sake.
When called by You such Love reveals
Your power, Lord, Christ Jesus heals.

“The bend of Godly route”a devotional poem by Linda Willows

Sacred flame burrow in to out
winding the bend of Godly route.
Life formed new in creations hold,
in Gods own hand, my soul quickens bold.

Reaching in, with sacred vows given,
breath to heart; His glory risen.
Holy might does bind this seed,
treasured by Love – born and freed.

Captured in wind, dancing with light,
my heart motions to quake this night.
Flame of love meets shining embrace
Mercy quickens the fullness of Grace.

Mercy tears to Lord, Love…………. by Linda Willows

Thank you my precious Lord

For hearing my prayer,

Listening as I call upon your deep Mercy

And love, with my hearts

Asking, though my tears may

Come into the river of appeal

And soft words of hope whisper

Through waves of lost clouds within,

You hear me.

You come to me.

I may feel lost and far away,

My greatest faith may be tested

In the need of a self so bare.

The child of my own within

Calls to you with loving prayer.

Father, come to me and heal,

The wounds that leave me dark.

Bind your mighty light upon

My every part from ever to now

You, I keep myself besides.

You, I live to find all truth

You, are the One that is All

Of Life, All of pupose, and the

Keeper of my Soul.

Holy Father, save me, keep me,

Love me in your might and

Width and breadth and ever greatest

Being, to Fathom, yet to Feel,

I live in Hope of You, Complete

Only in You. In Gratitude to You,

Dearest Father, abiding in All,

I love you with all that I am

Holy One, Amen.
