“Love casts us to Prayer, to worship Our King”….a worship poem by Linda Willows

Worship is dancing to the Face I adore,
A rapture of seeking, a heart’s joyful implore.
Spilling the melodies of the prayers of Love’s kind,
Oh Lord, I motion with my Heart’s full unwind.

This, but to You Lord, for no other would know,
How fully and deeply my heart’s crevice goes.
Unlike an earthly carved place of Love’s meet,
It winds all the way into this ancient heart’s beat.

Worship is apart like one precious pearls’ shine
It glints like a thousand stars blinking in time.
Gesturing, healing, heralding heavens to sing…
Love casts us to prayer, to worship Our King.

My Heart in God’s Palm

Returning, unlearning, reclaiming I run
Toward the sights of such near Holy One.
Basking in a love that draws my heart in
My whole, my entire, it is raised up within.

Receiving, believing, reveling I rest,
In awe of the bliss of such glorious quest.
Hoping that ever this moment will last
With my heart in God’s palm and Love’s all so vast.

“Footprints in Awe”…a poem by Linda Willows

Footprints in Awe

Lifted to the clouds I felt
As if my all could float to be
Like a child in God’s sweet arm
Swept near, swept in, swept close to His knee.

All the sky then felt like my home,
As if the earth were heaven’s own…
Joined together we were one
A life connected, through His Son.

This moment stood then as if apart,
Vivid as color and time soaked my heart.
All of my life and being was held…
All by a cloud in a joy drift that swelled.

“Surge”, my heart said, don’t let this go.
Life could take you back in its tow.
Oh the beauty, the Love, the wonders I saw;
I wept in my soul and made footprints in awe.
