“Fragile” ~The Poetry of Linda Willows

Feel this; fragile,
hear the thunder
I bend and curl
lie still and wonder.
Stagger breaths, heartbeat jolting,
crackling plunder
dreams revolting thoughts asunder,
taken from a heart’s safe slumber.

Would lightening come so close to the core
It stings the very bare of me
crushing thrashing through what tore.
Save me; fragile,
from the storm at the door.
I did not know
that love could bear more.

Feel appeal, oh come into this bend
a sweeter hush to soften, to lend
hand to heart
hope to start
wrap me, keep me in beloved extend.
