Some things about me,

I Love
I love Nature, Ocean waves, Mountain heights and a sacred Desert dune;
I love stars from the deep night sky and the face that peers at me from the Moon.

I Bow
I bow to Mercy,
Love in its many Faces,
Reflections, Miracles
And endless Graces.

About Writing
I have always loved writing. Born in the South, with a big imagination and lots of passion for Life to come, I remember being told that I was “too emotional”. Yet looking back, I never could have achieved or aspired as I did if I hadn’t been passionate. I just learned to pour it into meaning and contribution and sharing! Now Retired from an unexpected life, full of discovery, wonder, adventures and humbling life lessons.

Life, I found was in the unexpected turns and moments that are never planned or foreseen. We encounter ourselves, and if truthful, we encounter God. This I found to be the purpose behind all. God, I see in all Life, breathing through you and me. This unity, that we are is something that I feel deeply.

I Believe
I believe that it is important to stand upon the ground of the present, to fathom the Sacred Creator and find humility and wonder in personal and intimate approach to That which proceeds all activities, work, function and impulse of life, to view one another as part of One humanity, born to Love, embrace with humility, honor, and realization of  the unyielding Oneness carried through us all.

What matters most?
God of All Love, As the source, the Heart, all Life, your own breath and true sight.
Bring the Birth forward, into and towards this journey’s might. Knowing when to be silent and when to speak out, the identity balance between the ego and the Soul.

My Outreach…The Wyndom Foundation

I founded and directed The Wyndom Foundation, est. 1978-2000, an international non-governmental organization, affiliated with the United Nations, dedicated to the stewardship of Core Ethics, Global Heart and Humanitarian Initiatives and Service in regions of crises and war. My work included the functions of Director, Consultant, Program Development, Speaker and International Outreach.  I published “Ethics for a New Humanity” with the United Nations Development Program as well as manuscripts and featured articles and programs for fellow ngo organizations.

Active participation in the Global community deepened my awareness of issues and humanitarian concerns in regions of war and conflict..  I initiated outreach and served on site  for more than five years both Bosnia during the Balkan War and in the Middle East, spanning the Gulf War era.

 Now, at 61, I enjoy writing and poetry.

My Gratitude is offered to the countless people, regions, cultures and both humbling and sacred encounters which have increased what began as an idea  of Outreach, “Global Heart”.

I consider that I always have been a Student of Life, this will never end….now I am learning that Global Heart is God’s Heart….

Always extraordinary Journey, but just beginning steps….
Travel has been a significant part both of humbling and building me as a person. Much of it was due to humanitarian initiative work and a strong belief in Ethics and Values, most personal initiative. Some was from by earlier career as a professional ballet dancer. It formed me as a person and altered me forever. As they say….”Walk in the shoes of another….”.

The Trek
The first part of my travels were the benefit of my early career as a professional ballet dancer. I was fortunate to work in touring companies and used many opportunities in Europe, to choose an affinity for “place” over getting back on the plane! I lived in Italy for a year, quite young! Before that, almost every state in the US. Much travel also involved my care and honor of the welfare of others through my work in outreach.

As travel continued I had the honor of discovering (some even with amazement and wonder much too brief..) The United Kingdom, Southern France, Germany, East Berlin before the Wall was taken down, later to Austria, Sweden,  Switzerland, The Netherlands, Denmark, Croatia, Bosnia, The Czech Republic, Turkey, all of Israel from Jaffa to Haifa to the Galilee to the Dead Sea, Jerusalem including the Territories of Palestine and Gaza before they became inaccessible.

How beautiful is the world that we live in! Each corner, country, people…all so vivid and wondrous…my deepest gratitude to have seen such wonder!

A Remarkable trip to India and the Northern Mountains offered to Tibetans, including Dharamsala (regal base of the Dali Lama and center of Tibetan Government in Exile)
….my heart also traveled to Canada, Mexico, Virgin Islands. In addition, was a great tribute to beauty of the Oceans and love of waves to visit the islands in the Caribbean and my favorite waves of all; Hawaii.What a glorious world it is. I have thought to myself at times, “How can we raise the goodness, human kindness and honor yet not be blind to the calls of injustice, suffering, poverty and all the wounds that long to heal?, Where are the answers to these calls?”  The journey need not cross boundaries in global journeys. It is one that calls from our minds, hearts and souls. It is a journey that truly only begins with belief and faith in God, the Creator of this most wondrous world that we live in.

Deep Gratitude
I was fascinated, challenged to learn, and honored to meet the people of each culture and faith. I am thankful for these travels. They are what extended my heart and soul. I will never feel separation or “differences” because at Core we join in the Sacred. At the core we are all children of God.

Almost at the age of that old John Lennon Song..

And now I am so much older, this year, 61, needing naps, bones that ache, but limbs that still want to stretch, dance…fly into the Arms of God; I am still an  impassioned soul, learning, growing, still humbled by life, ever living in the Wonder of the Miracles of God and with a joyful smile in my heart knowing at last the Love is so much Nearer and True than I could ever have known. Four Things to Remember along the Way

1. If you don’t find the soft and tender ache of Humility, through Wisdom’s Pace….It will find You.
2. There is no other choice but to Love, ourselves, One another, Life, All of the Moment that fills you Now, and Portals to God greater than anyone could father, other than That, Source of All Love.
3. We cannot hold on to anything. Time, the concept of Possession, Owning, claiming anything less the God’s Love and Presence as part of your eternal Space and Being, is an illusion.
4. If you ever feel a sacred motion in yourself to fall to the sweet ground of wherever you are, be it a temple, a church, a pasture, forest earth, sacred shrine or sandy tide that glistened from the sun, let your self go. Don’t worry if anyone is looking. God is and in that moment there is a sacred embrace spontaneous in Love and humble gratitude…FallAway, FallAway, FallAway!
