Petals beneath my footsteps ~a poem by Linda Willows

Deep silken petals fall beneath my footsteps,
I linger to feel each round cloud that soft lets.
Wanderings embrace of Love’s kind mortal face,
Oh the bounty brings lesson of ne’er ending Grace.

Silver strands weave into budding new Heart,
announcing the tellings of shining path’s start.
Pull all of the sweetness, the flower, the rose,
make parcel of this and see peace in repose.

Would that the drops of this magical feat
could sprinkle like dew over all that may weep.
The silk of the petal upon the Path’s way
could embrace and soften each journey’s bouquet.

Love bears Witness ~a poem by Linda Willows

Love does not wait
upon permissions
nor partake
in time nor rule.
It flows with all abandon
as if had
Freedom
in a duel.
Cannot be captured
lest be lessened.
Not be owned
lest be “known”.
Love releases wings
to soaring flight,
bearing witness
To Birth
of Light.

“One Shiny Moment” ~from Linda Willows

One Shiny Moment, for All

I love knowing that at any given moment
I have the power to alter my perception,
mood and “inner script” of thought.
I can choose like an artist,
which colors and hues
I wish to bring to this
one shiny moment.
Anything is possible.
Anything. For all of us.

I can Imagine and see,
I allow and learn to be.
Becoming is already here.
Just for this
one shiny moment
I will dare Love to be Everywhere.
For All of Us.

In my mind, I am giving a flower
to everyone in my world today
and even many beyond. Far beyond.
Can you feel it?
What would you say?
Try it and see!
Think of an image of Love
and smile! I dare you!
Now give it away.
Love,
Linda

“to see Heaven in a Flower” ~Inspirational Photo Collection from Linda Willows ~ 8.3.2012

O

I am especially happy to share this inspiring collection with you for its great beauty and depth. All are the works of Australian Photographer Sandra McCabe, who specializes in micro photography and Flowers.

In her bio she offers a quote from William Blake, “To see a world in a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower. Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in and hour.” This, she says is the view that she sees through her lens.

That, as well as these remarkable photographs inspired me. I am very happy to share these with you today!
In-Joy. Be with Peace -
Love, Linda

I say “Lord, yes. Begin.” ~Life is Beautiful PhotoQuotes by Linda Willows ~8.1.2012

Wake! Oh…as I drawn my breath in and feel a moment’s bright spin.
I say, “Lord, yes. Begin.”
Never late. All our crossroads come now into Glory’s great sake.
“Make it Wide”, I say.
For the Beauty is long and Forever is at stake.

“Songs that We Sang Before Time Took Its Hold” ~by Linda Willows

All have gone on ahead, and I am left here with me.
The ones that followed can’t find passage to see-
The Heart that reached in and fell out far and strong
Forever, perhaps never- cast longing lifelong.

Songs that we sang before time took some hold
Come back to me, tearfully in markings yet bold.
I step to the tunes but get lost on the day.
None can come alive from yesterday’s way.

All have gone ahead and I am left here with me,
Breathing, heart beating, no chance to foresee.
Destiny runs through life’s path with such will;
Unsightly, heartbreaking, yet ours to love still.

“Each Blossom Folds Round” ~Inspirations by Linda Willows

Each blossoms folds round
amidst and entwined
Hues contrast and blend
to Song wonder would find.

The divine fragrant blend
is the harmony of each.
Yet our hearts fall asleep
sometimes just before reach.

Joy lives amidst
nature’s simple relief.
Seeks not who is who,
but celebrates beneath.

It is essence that joins
all in song and imbues,
the wondrous call
that awakens each hue.

“We each are valuable in the circle of Love and cycles of the Love and Breadth of the Divine. Together, we form a greater whole, one complete as a humanity, imbued equally with the Wonders of The Creation and cause Song, Universal Sound to call forth, out and with evocative beauty…to harmonize with the Nature of the Divine. We must harmonize first with ourselves, with our fellows and in fellowship to all. This creates an alignment which floods the gates of sound, breath, love, Presence and Witness to a kind of Oneness perhaps not fathomed. No one walks alone. We don’t become “enlightened” in self caves; comes a time when passion must include Compassion and indeed, “We must love our neighbors, as ourselves”. from Linda

The Lost Nights of Loves’ War ~The Poetry of Linda Willows

The Lost Nights of Loves’ War

When I gaze at the lace of sweet petals’ raw core,
My heart pains to face, the lost nights of love’s war.

I fell into your soul with mine
And broke all and every tie that binds
Heaven shook the sea to blind
As I buried all of me to be your kind.

Now all the veils have fallen away
I was lost, expelled, like a child with no say
And too many pieces of me Left in you
Petals, shrapnel, fallen dust and adieu!

“The Sweet Blossoms’ Soul” Poetry by Linda Willows

Close to my heart lives a garden that I tend,
Filled with lilac and rosebuds; perennials lush in each bend.
Each with a scent that tenders still as I touch
The sweet blossoms’ soul, the petals’ own blush.

My garden grows so close, that it catches each tear,
Then lifts, adores and sheds to all flowers near.
Life and Its’ rain drops flow with nourishing pour
As my garden is tended, near my Hearts’ gladdened core.
