“Shadows Dance” ~Poetry by Linda Willows

All shadows dance
with abandons’ delight,
lifting into the dare
of sweet freedom in Light.
Marking bold steps
left from history’s flight,
they rise unhindered
on this very night.
Curling in and out
of winding fire’s height
they endow and ignite
all secrets from the Night.

  2. You present here a very positive function in our lives for shadows, Linda! As they dance in the firelight of our spirits, they do remind us of needful things, I think.

  3. … “lifting into the dare of sweet freedom in Light.” – ooh, love this phrasing! I love watching shadows, especially from firelight. They are both mesmerizing and fascinatingly beautiful. Lovely poem, my dear friend. ~ Love, Julie xoxox

    • Thank you! It is very daring to lift a “shadow” into the light of conscious Knowing, Witness and allow a transfiguration into its new freedom in and as Light! I can see shadows as rich for contemplation. :-D
