“Fragile” ~The Poetry of Linda Willows

Save me; fragile,
from the thunder…
I would only lie,
be still and wonder
if the stagger of jolting
and crackling plunder
were real, imagined
or perhaps my heart’s blunder.
Would lightening come close
and find my heart’s core?
It may sting the bare of me,
crushing what tore.
Save me; fragile,
from the storm at the door.
I did not know
that love could bear more.

How connected to nature we are and we find our lives parallel the sun and the rain, the movement of the wind through us…
