Mother Heart, born of hope,
of dreams that tie forever’s elope.
Love immersed in tender gaze
from near or far which follows all days.

Gentle bond to swaddled care
from birth to times that challenge heart’s dare.
Nothing ever alters the breath once shared,
yet each day is new and brings its own wares.

Mothers Heart, opens to fill with grace
acceptance, forbearance and the soul’s very face,
anchored throughout all of the turns of life’s fate.
It emboldens, widens and curls towards Love’s Gate.
