Day and Night

Journey into night and day
The lone soul burrows into space
Seedling scattered by the Gods,
seeking gentle Earth’s embrace.

Emerging from beneath the soil
the young one toils with all its might
Waking, seeing, living, being,
Out of darkness into Light.
